Calling 911 in a College Town
Me: “I’ve been stabbed.”
Operator: “Did you even read the syllabus?”
Update and Birthday
So, this is gonna be hella long. I don’t even know where to start. I now live in a co-ed apartment with two girls and one guy. Adela is an Albanian goddess pretty much and she’s just so much fun. Natalia is Columbian and she works so freaking hard. She’s my inspiration. Quinton is a Jewish gamer who just can’t seem to get enough of celebrity news. He’s also a whiz at computers. They’re all great people.
I have my own room and bathroom now and it’s amazing. Just sayin
My birthday has been over for two hours now and I still think nineteen sounds a little old. But, it’s okay. My day was so awesome. It was so simple and still the best birthday I’ve had in years. A friend from church took me to breakfast at a nearby diner that had walls covered with golf posters. Ridiculously enough, these people were trying to give me a birthday shot at eleven in the morning. I was dead ass confused and took a free brownie instead. She and I went to a reptile store and walked around for a bit. I was freaked out the entire time. Then, I got a manicure and a pedicure. Following the mani pedi, I went to the mall and kinda lost myself in Forever 21 and Pink. I had originally planned to go to the movies, but my other friend and I just decided to get frozen yogurt. The icing on the cake was talking to my dad for a whole TWENTY MINUTES! We talked about school, we talked about home, and we talked about the land he left for me and sisters in Haiti right next to a river. Things ended well. No trouble. No sorrow. Just a peaceful day.
The older I get, the more I realize how much I appreciate my own company. I can just lay in bed, read a book, practice playing guitar, or just watch a movie and be completely unbothered. This was way too long. Haha
